The
History of Snooker
Snooker dates back to
around 1875 and was invented by British Army officers in India.
Loads
of ideas for the snooker or pool enthusiast. We have snooker
tables in various sizes including 5 foot snooker tables or 6 foot
snooker tables. Brands such as BCE and Riley are very popular.
Some come as foldaway snooker tables for ease of storage when
not is use. We also have snooker games such as
WSC Real 09: World Snooker
Championship for the PS3.
Foldaway snooker tables
Snooker tables take up quite a bit of room. Even the
small ones such as 4.5 or 5 ft snooker tables can get in the way. We
have listed some foldaway snooker tables which once folded and stood
up can be put into a corner of a room.

The snooker world championships will take
place at the usual venue of the Crucible Theatre in
Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They begin on the 17th of April
and end on the 3rd of May. |

Current bookmakers favourite to win the
World Championships is Ronnie O'Sullivan with John Higgins
close behind in second place. |

Steve Davis will be at the world
championships for the 30th time after defeating Adrian
Gunnell 10-4 in a final qualifying round. |

Is Mark Williams hitting form at the right
time? After recently winning the China Open Williams could
be at his peak for the big one which starts in a few days
time now! |

Here we go! Yes today is the start of the
world snooker championships for 2010. Ronnie O'Sullivan,
John Higgins and Mark Williams are all in action today.
1st round: John Higgins beats Barry Hawkins 10-6
